Really cheap for all the features ! It is a small box running on an android system comparable to a small computer. The performance are correct with a Dual Core processor. This " box "will allow you to make "connected" no matter what tv and put it to the taste of the day (see more). You will be able to access your file networks, browse the internet. And even connect a keyboard, mouse, downloading files, etc Plugs : 4/5 – Basic : 2 USB ports, an HDMI, a composite output, an Ethernet input. C is sufficient, but we would have liked to have also an optical output Features : 5/5 – VIDEOS AUDIO AND PICTURES : Thanks to the wonderful software that is Kodi (ex xbmc) you will be able to access all your files on all the computers in the house for a little that they may be shared on a network, on windows it is very simple, you share in the network and it is recognized almost automatically to kodi (in the worst case it will need to know the local ip of your pc is often presented 192.168.X.X) . On the Mac it is a bit less simple, you will need a small software such as SMBup and SAMBA to share your files easily. Once your shared files, Kodi recognize them. Wifi as on ethernet no problem for you to stream large blu-Ray 1080p without lag it's really enjoyable. Ergonomics : 4/5 – It is relatively simple. All operation easily and simply, EXCEPT the keyboard, it is really laborious with the remote control, and it is better to be in front to avoid having to use force on the keys. A remote control type "wimote" would have been nice, but you can always use an external remote, or a good old keyboard/mouse combo (wired or with a wireless adapter to plug in in usb). For having a tablet on your tv (VIDEO PLAYBACK, STREAMING, MEDIA CENTER ...) ► first, that is what an Android TV BOX ? And well it is simply a small box that you will plug in the HDMI on your tv, and allow you to have a Android interface on your tv. So you can imagine all the possibilities that it offers. ► What is it used for ? As I l have said, this box running Android (4..2.2), it will allow you to do a lot of things. The most interesting being : - "streamer" content from your PC on your tv via the network - browse the internet - watch videos on YouTube, Netflix and other ... - word processing and office automation - and full of other things ... It is supplied with : - remote control (uses 2 AAA batteries NOT included) - composite cable - a small leaflet (in English) - ac adapter The case is very light, the use of which is the navigation is fluid. However, we feel sometimes some slowdowns during use. ► Negative Points : - no HDMI cable supplied - no battery supplied - some slowdowns In conclusion, this product is not bad for the price but suffers some slowdowns rather unpleasant. It comes with a AV cable but no HDMI cable provided, a remote control written in chinese including the 2 AAA batteries are not provided, a small user guide in English explaining only the connection to the internet as well as a mains cable, which I find a bit short. This box is easy to install, after having made the connections, there are more than at the start. First of all, I recommend you make in the settings to change the language to French. Very good product For this price, I recommend it highly. I could not pick up the channels on my freebox because of the low flow rate ( free to do anything pr my low-flow ) and thanks to this box I could not install a lot of app pr watch any american channel and around the world, check emails, facebook etc.. And then having android on a TV is a plus.
